GRC tools are geared towards addressing high-level compliance and audit reporting, as well as vendor management. In short, GRC applications are not intended to be used as operational tools to find and fix security vulnerabilities in a fast, efficient manner. Kenna is completely focused on automating vulnerability management and remediation and should be viewed as complementary to GRC tools, not competitive. As with SIEM tools, customers can use the Kenna RESTful, bi-directional API to export Kenna data into GRC tools.
We have a GRC tool in place - why would we need Kenna?
