The Cisco Community for Kenna Customers

What is it?

The Cisco Community is an engaging, full-featured, self-service, content-filled, technical community for all Cisco solutions. The Community provides an online site and collaboration tools to quickly find answers to questions, troubleshoot, research independent reviews on products, and discover enhanced connectivity techniques and optimization questions. The site is publicly searchable without signing up, but you must join if you want to participate in discussions. Learn more on our FAQ page!

How do I join?

You can watch this video, or follow the written instruction below:

You can browse and join the Cisco Customer Community now! First click on Log In.

This will open the Login / Create Account page. Here you can log in with your existing Cisco.com login, or you can sign up by clicking on Create an Account on the upper right corner of the page. The good thing about registering an account on the Cisco Community is that this will serve as your Cisco.com login for other Cisco solutions. In fact, many of you may already have a Cisco.com login! For more information on how to join, check out this document.

Where can I participate in Kenna-related content?

There are two community spaces within the Cisco Customer Community for our Kenna customers.

Public Cisco Community Security Space

In the public forums, you can:

  • Search forums and information under a variety of Security topics.
  • Connect with other Kenna customers – and a broader group of Cisco Secure Customers.
  • Participate in discussion forums to ask questions and learn from your peers.

Where do I find the Security Space?

To find the Security topics, click on Technology and Support.Screenshot_2022-11-22_at_10.15.44_AM.png

Next, click on Security, which will open the Discussion Forums, Resources, News and Events to the right. You can click on View All at the bottom for a more comprehensive view.

How do I use the space?

You can read about topics and commentary in the Discussion Forums, and check out the other security resources. Remember that posts and comments in this space are publicly searchable. In order to post and comment, you must be signed into the Cisco Community.

Whenever you are posting or commenting on Kenna-related content, please select the labels Vulnerability Management and Kenna Security. If more labels are needed, please let us know!

You can also use these labels as filters to search this content.

Private Kenna Security Customer Community

The private Kenna Community has much of the same benefits as the public forum, except it is private and therefore not publicly searchable. In the private community, you can:

  • Start new discussion threads on Kenna-specific topics using the labels available.
  • Connect with other Kenna Users and SMEs on use cases, best practices, and product questions.
  • Find out about recent releases and upcoming power user webinars.

Where do I join the private Kenna Security Customer Community?

Once signed into the Cisco Community you can easily join our private community exclusively for Kenna Customers! Once you find the Security Discussion forums as outlined above, and click on View All to see all topics, you will find a link to the Kenna Security Customer Community.

Clicking this link will bring you to the following page, which describes the group and allows you to send us a request to join.

How do I use the space?

Once in the Kenna Security Customer Community, you will find sections for the Discussion Forum, Knowledge Base, Release Notes, Idea Exchange, and Power User Webinars. Clicking into each page will give you a brief description of the purpose.

Similar to the labels in the Public Cisco Community, here there are a number of labels to use in categorizing the content you post, or for filtering on that content. Pick all the labels that apply!
