Predicted Exploits

The Kenna Predictive Exploit engine identifies vulnerabilities that are expected to be Easily Exploitable in the future. This new threat vector enhances Kenna's ability to help teams prioritize vulnerabilities for remediation by increasing the score of vulnerabilities that are predicted to become problems in the future and allowing you to see vulnerabilities that fall into this category.

Click the Predicted Exploit button at the top of the main Explore page to see these vulnerabilities:

The predictive model used in Kenna increases the base score according to how likely we estimate it is that a toolkit will become available for a given vulnerability. You can see the likelihood rating by looking on the vulnerability details page for any vulnerability marked as "Predicted Exploit."

Predicted scoring increases will always be less than increases for existing Malware and Easily Exploitable vulnerabilities. Continue using Top Fixes to drive down risk the fastest and fix the highest scoring vulnerabilities first, knowing that this added intel will move up items that may become a bigger problem in the future.
