Predicted Exploits

The Predictive Exploit engine identifies vulnerabilities that are expected to have an Active Internet Breach in the future. This threat vector enhances Cisco Vulnerability Management's ability to help teams prioritize vulnerabilities for remediation by increasing the score of vulnerabilities that are predicted to become problems in the future and allowing you to see vulnerabilities that fall into this category.

Click the Predicted Exploit button at the top of the main Explore page to see these vulnerabilities:

The predictive model used in Cisco Vulnerability Management looks at the probability of a vulnerability having an Active Internet Breach in the future. The model factors this likelihood into the overall Kenna Risk Score. You can see the likelihood rating by looking on the vulnerability details page for any vulnerability marked as "Predicted Exploit."

Predicted scoring increases will always be less than increases for existing Malware and Easily Exploitable vulnerabilities. Continue using Top Fixes to drive down risk the fastest and fix the highest scoring vulnerabilities first, knowing that this added intel will move up items that may become a bigger problem in the future.
